Penn-Mont is fortunate for the many families, friends and alumni who contribute generously to support the mission of our school. They understand that every gift matters…every year. Gifts are an opportunity to empower the next generation of bold thinkers, creative doers, peacemakers, and global citizens.

Our mission statement calls for a culture of philanthropy that will ensure its success.  Penn-Mont Development efforts purposely blend the essential work of raising funds for our school with a philosophy that each family’s active participation in the life and health of our school creates a vital community.  Donation of time and talent demonstrate to our children the adults’ support of their school, as well as creates meaningful, enduring relationships between families and Penn-Mont.  Your support through annual giving and fundraising events bridges the financial gap that exists between tuition revenue and operating expense.  We create this gap knowingly, as we are committed to moderate tuition and robust tuition assistance.

When you enter the doors of Penn-Mont, you walk into a facility with a deep commitment of delivering a quality Montessori education.  You become part of a very special community.  For the past 60 years, parents, students, faculty, staff, alumni, grandparents and friends – have all been an integral part of our success.  We could not accomplish what we do every day for the children of Penn-Mont without this support.

As a Montessori community, Penn-Mont encourages, and highly values, collaborative work between parents, teachers, and staff.  Together we build a community that is strong philosophically, financially and academically.  We believe that it takes more than writing a tuition check to exist meaningfully in a Montessori community.  The active participation of every member of our community, along with every gift, has an impact.  When every family, teacher and administrator participates, we ensure the long-term growth and continuous improvement of our school.  As an independent, non-profit, tax-exempt organization that receives no public funding, we rely heavily on a spirit of philanthropy to provide the resources necessary to enrich our programs and improve our facilities.  Each gift is important.  No gift is too large or too small.
