Penn-Mont offers toddler through elementary school programs accredited by the American Montessori Society and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Founded in 1961, Penn-Mont was the first Montessori school established in Pennsylvania and third in the nation. Our unique facility features beautiful bright classrooms, a spacious library, dedicated art and music rooms, a large multipurpose room and a one of a kind outdoor educational classroom. We are located in the heart of beautiful Central Pennsylvania.

Application Process
Programs at Penn-Mont Academy are licensed by the PA Department of Education/or the PA Department of Human Services. Both agencies require that all applicants for employment have background checks. Employee is responsible for incurring costs of all Background Checks.
Candidates for all positions must submit the following:
- Cover letter addressing the criteria in the job description
- Current resume
- Two letters of reference
- Employment Application (if required)
- Salary requirements
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- Federal Criminal History Record
Successful candidates will be required to complete:
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release
- Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form
- Health Assessment and TB Testing
- DPW Disclosure Statement (if needed)
